UQPN brings professional staff together, regardless of HEW level, job description or campus and is the oldest network of UQ professional staff at UQ.
Vision and purpose
Our vision is to provide valuable professional development and networking opportunities that benefit all UQ staff, fostering creativity, friendship, and a greater sense of community. UQPN aims to promote fellowship, the exchange of ideas, and both professional and personal growth, thereby nurturing a strong community for UQ professional staff. Through our workshops, seminars, and signature networking events, we support and strengthen our network.
To this end, our network's purpose is to:
share their knowledge and help each other wherever possible with advice or assistance relating to best practices and technical aspects of their work as UQ professional staff
welcome and assist new professional staff appointed at UQ
endeavour to promote understanding and co-operation
participate in and promote the personal and professional development of all members
Thereby accomplishing self-improvement through the UQPN member network.
