WHY UQPN?
I’m keen to meet and to support my fellow professional staff through the UQPN! There’s such a broad range of professional jobs at UQ and having the opportunity to connect with fellow professional staff through the UQPN is to everyone’s benefit – you can learn about other roles, share opportunities for professional development, and, most importantly, find colleagues who can help you out in a bind when you’re completely stumped. I’m so impressed by the work being done by the UQPN and am glad I can contribute in my small way!
EXPERIENCE
Since starting at UQ I’ve worked in committee and governance support roles, first in the Academic Policy and Programs team and most recently in the Governance and Risk Division.
I’m very comfortable with – and, luckily for the UQPN but unluckily for me, enjoy – all aspects of committee support, and am happy to be part of the Oversight Committee so I can help it and the whole UQPN work as effectively as possible to continue the good work being done for UQ’s professionals.
