WHY UQPN?

I joined UQPN because I wanted to get involved, contribute, and develop my skills while connecting with other professional staff across UQ. Being part of a peer‑led network like UQPN felt like a good opportunity to learn from others and give something back at the same time.

EXPERIENCE

I currently work as a Customer Service Officer within Property and Facilities, where clear communication, organisation and stakeholder support are central to my role. I manage enquiries from a wide range of internal clients, coordinate information across teams, and support accurate and consistent communication to ensure staff receive clear and timely information.

In previous roles, I supported marketing, communications and events activities, including preparing content for digital and email channels, promoting initiatives, assisting with event coordination, and working with stakeholders to support engagement and participation. This experience has given me a practical understanding of how effective communication and well‑coordinated events contribute to positive engagement.
