Karen Perkins | Faculty Executive Manager, Faculty Of Engineering, Architecture & Information Technology
Karen is currently the Faculty Executive Manager in EAIT. She has over 25 years’ experience working as a manager in leading universities in Australia and the UK, across a range of functions and discipline areas. She joined The University of Queensland in April 2012 as School Manager in Psychology. Karen has a strong interest in professional development for professional staff in higher education, having served on the organising committee of the General Managers’ Community of Practice and establishing the EAIT-LEAD professional development program in the EAIT Faculty.
Karen has an MBA in higher education management from the University of London, a Master of Arts in Communication Studies from Bond University and a Bachelor of Arts majoring in Japanese and German language & culture from The University of Queensland. She has lived in London, Tokyo, Perth, Melbourne and Brisbane, and is a keen supporter of equity, diversity and inclusion.
Gina Campbell | Director, HR Client Partnering
With 25 years of local and international experience, Gina is highly regarded for developing strategic solutions to complex workforce challenges. She applies customer-centric workforce planning to drive strategic transformation, improve staff retention, optimise costs and manage risk. With the advent of advanced analytics, Gina’s recent focus is to build senior leaders’ capability to leverage HR data insights and improve decision-making.
Gilbert Kruidenier | Managing Director, Kruidenier Consulting
With over 20 years of experience creating better change experiences across retail, education, disability and aged care, manufacturing and government, Gilbert is a trusted advisor and passionate advocate for transformation and change that people can see and experience for themselves.
Gilbert’s change approach combines practical tools, evidence-based practices, behavioural science, and crystal-clear communication to deliver outcomes that matter to the people impacted by change.
He wrote a book about Bad Change and has a Master’s Degree in Organisational Change and Culture, and a handful of other degrees and qualifications, including a chainsaw license, National Emergency Medal and is an AICD Company Directors Graduate.
