WHY UQPN?

I joined UQPN in 2023 to expand my network, share my skillset and develop professionally in new areas.

EXPERIENCE

UQ has been a constant in my life for over 15 years, from part-time and full-time opportunities. I feel very fortunate to work for such a progressive organisation that has allowed me to achieve a successful work-life balance.

Most of my career has been spent with the university's Finance and Business Services division, first in transactional roles and more recently as a Senior Training and Support Officer for Finance Client Support Services. Our team designs and maintains the training resources for all things Finance at UQ. We also provide client support for Finance systems and processes at UQ as well as communicate Finance news and initiatives to staff.

I especially enjoy the instructional training design element of my role, as well as getting to use and learn lots of different systems and software programs (which I also very much enjoy). Some fun software programs I get to use regularly are Articulate 360, Venngage, Vision6 and Drupal as well as the specific Finance systems we use here at UQ like UniFi, ExpenseMe Pro and UQProcure.
